OGDENSBURG — Kid’s Place, the children’s museum at the Frederic Remington Art Museum, is open seven days a week during the months of July and August.

The children’s museum will be open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., and Saturdays and Sundays from 1-4 p.m. Kid’s Place is always free to children and their caregivers.

Kid’s Place features dynamic interactive exhibits, opportunities for creative play, and art activities created expressly for children of different ages and learning abilities.

A fully staffed kids’ art studio is stocked with art materials and projects. The Center also features a classroom that is the main programs space for art classes for adolescents and adults.

The free, weekly “Lunch Bunch” program, when children ages 2-6 bring a bagged lunch to eat with friends, make an art project, and play together, continues through the summer on Wednesdays from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Kid’s Place is located in the Museum’s Eva Caten Remington Education Center at 323 Washington Street, Ogdensburg, down the street from the Museum and across the street from Library Park and the Ogdensburg Public Library.
