POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum will present Rube Goldberg science inventions on Saturday, Oct. 3, from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the Clarkson University Bookstore, 39 Market St.
Kids will learn about the famous Rube Goldberg machine, which is an invention that is specially designed to perform a simple task in an over-the-top silly way.
Participants will tap into their creativity and use every-day items to build an innovative machine to accomplish a goal using a series of chain reactions.
Katie Fowler, professor of mathematics at Clarkson University, runs the program.
