OGDENSBURG -- The Frederic Remington Art Museum will host the 2012 Juried Art Exhibit.
Juror Adam Huckle selected 34 artworks by 23 New York State artists. Many are returning participants, while others are exhibiting at the museum for the first time.
The exhibition will be on view in the museum’s Richard E. Winter Gallery & Torrey Family Gallery Sept. 29 to Jan. 6.
There will be an opening reception Saturday, Sept. 29 from 2 to 4 p.m.
Artists include Ravinder Agarwal, Ogdensburg; Judy Andrus Toporcer, Colton; Marion Bradish, Winthrop; John Elwood Cook, Wellesley Island; Marie Engels, Canton; Robert Fountain III, Lowville; Genine A. Gehret, DeKalb Junction; Becky Harblin, Norwood; Ethan D. Henry, Ogdensburg; Christopher Jay, Potsdam; Catherine LaPointe, Potsdam; Gary Larsen, Edinburg; Thomas Lascell, Canton; Suzan McDermott, Canton; John Morrow, Ogdensburg; William A. Newman, Rensselaer Falls; George Osier, Ogdensburg; Valerie Patterson, Saranac Lake; Paul Norman Pedersen, Hermon; Lynne Reichhart, Westernville; Maria Janina Rizzo, East Syracuse; Eleanor Sweeney, Saranac Lake; Todd Thiel, Ogdensburg.
Many of the works will be for sale. One third of the proceeds will benefit the Frederic Remington Art Museum.
