MASSENA – The Junior Earth Keeper Club will meet Nov. 16 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Nature Center.
The program is for five to 12 year-olds and is an environmental educational kid’s club that gets kids outdoors to help them discover an appreciation for the natural world.
Kids will participate in scavenger hunts, geo-caching, nature hikes, wildlife observations and more. Participants will meet at the trailhead and need to dress for weather. The first 20 new club members will receive a nature journal and pencil.
Junior Earth Keeper tote bags can be earned after attending three club meetings. Contact 705-5022 or ncrebirth@yahoo.com to sign up.
