POTSDAM -- Juanita’s “First Thursday Creations” will be held June 5 at the Potsdam Food Co-op, 24 Elm St., from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
The event will teach participants about ancient grains and heirloom vegetables that are becoming popular.
On the first Thursday of each month, Juanita Babcock will present a new dish featuring ingredients that are uncommon.
Samples and printed recipe cards will be available.
Babcock has written a cookbook and taught vegetarian cooking classes.
