MASSENA -- The Jr. Earth Keepers Club is celebrating Earth Day on April 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Nature Center, Robert Moses State Park, 19 Robinson Bay Rd.
Kids can take a guided hike to tally local species, learn about diversity and document findings with digital cameras, using GPS units to mark coordinates.
Each spotting will be identified by using field guide apps on tables and SMART phones.
Following the hike, photos will be uploaded onto the "Project Noah" website and the Jr. Earth Keeper Facebook page.
