POTSDAM -- Penski Staffing will host an “End of Summer Job Fair” on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at their office, 50 Market St., from 9:30 a.m. until 1 p.m.

“The job market in northern New York is picking up. Local employers are hiring, so it is a good time for job seekers to look for work,” said Jane Gravlin, St. Lawrence County team leader at Penski.

Penski staffing is a 35-year old locally owned and managed job placement firm with offices in Potsdam and Watertown.

Health Services of NNY, which is located right next door to Penski, will also hold a job fair the same day.

“We will be recruiting candidates for a wide variety of positions: from food service, office, administrative, accounting, production, IT programmers and desktop support technicians and more,” Gravlin said. “We encourage anyone job seeking and interested in learning more about us to come down, have some refreshments, and talk to us about our current openings…and don’t forget to bring a resume.”

Penski will offer two raffles as well.

“If you are not currently registered with us, all you need to enter the raffle is to submit a resume, or if you are already registered or working for us, refer a friend for a chance to win some great prizes,” Gravlin said.
