POTSDAM – Jon Dufore, a graduate of the Musician's Institute, will teach an intermediate guitar players’ class Saturday, Dec. 15 from 2 to 5 p.m.

Dufore will use Jimi Hendrix’s song “Little Wing” as an example to help students explore Hendrix’s rhythm guitar style, including chord suspensions, double stops, using the thumb to play bass notes, and "Hendrix" chords.

The class will meet in room 230 of downtown Snell Hall, 41 Elm St.

The cost is $30 and students should bring a guitar. For more about Dufore, visit jonduforemusic.com. To register contact the SLC Arts Council at 265-6860 or www.slcartscouncil.org.
