NORWOOD -- A jamboree for Jim Richardson will be held Sunday, July 19, at the Norwood American Legion, 68 Maple St., from 1 until 6 p.m.
Richardson was diagnosed with a rare form of small bowel cancer and is receiving chemotherapy treatments in Ogdensburg every two weeks. He has to travel to Burlington for more chemotherapy, tests and doctors appointments each six weeks as well.
There will be raffles, door prizes, live music and food.
The cost is $10 per person or $30 for a family of four or more.
