GOUVERNEUR – A jamboree for cancer patient Richard Cryderman will be held at the Gouverneur VFW Sunday, Oct. 3 beginning at 1 p.m.

Cryderman, who has been diagnosed with prostate cancer, needs a medical test performed but his insurance won’t pay.

Music and karaoke will be provided DJ Jeff Burt. There will also be 50/50 drawings, an auction, door prizes and food.

Admission is $3 at the door.
