CANTON – A presentation about Ireland, as well as Irish music and songs will be featured at the next Brown Bag Lunch at noon, Thursday, March 15 at the St. Lawrence County Historical Association, 3 East Main St.
The event is free and open to the public. Eve Stoddard, Dana Professor of Global Studies at St. Lawrence University, will speak on Ireland.
For the past several years she has taught a summer program for SLU students in Ireland and Northern Ireland. She will be joined by Bob Duda on piano and vocalist Diane Foote, who will transport the audience to the lush Irish countryside.
