CANTON – The St. Lawrence Land Trust is hosting a workshop to educate landowners and community members on how to identify and control the invasive pale swallow-wort Saturday, July 23 at 2 p.m.
Pale swallow-wort is becoming increasingly prevalent in the North Country and poses a threat to native plant species and the birds and insects that depend on them for survival.
Paul Hetzler from the Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County will be leading the workshop. It will be held at 605 Miner St.
