OGDENSBURG -- An Intro to Fishing workshop will be held at Eel Weir State Park, Sunday, June 25, from 1-3 p.m.
The event, hosted by Nature Up North, will teach participants about local fish and how to cast. No fishing license or previous experience required.
About 10 fishing poles will be provided, but students can bring their own gear. Sunscreen, water, and a camera, shorts and close-toed sandals or old sneakers are recommended.
