POTSDAM -- An inter-faith picnic will be held Thursday, Sept. 3, at 6 p.m., Pine Street Arena park. Everyone is welcome.
The Potsdam Mosque will provide and grill meat that is both Halal and Kosher, paper products will be provided by the Potsdam Ministerial Association, and attendees are encouraged to bring a vegetarian dish to pass.
After the meal, there will be many games for all ages including frisbee and sack races.
The picnic is free.
This event is sponsored by the Ministerial Association of Potsdam, an interfaith organization composed of representatives from over ten different religious communities in the Potsdam area.
