CANTON -- Local Living Venture will host a workshop about starting garden seedlings indoors on April 13 from 1 to 3:30 p.m.
Participants will learn from long-time organic farmer Dulli Tengeler about what containers to use for what plants, how to compost easily and we will make your own potting soil from compost, how to fill containers, how to seed different crops and transplanting tomatoes, celery and basil.
Those who attend will take home several seedlings.
Cookies and tea will be served during question and answer period.
Feel free to bring cookies.
The fee is $15 and $5 for students.
