RENSSELAER FALLS -- The Indian Creek Nature Center will offer several free nature programs this fall.
Mosses and fungi will be explored with Karl McKnight Sept. 7 from 9:30 to noon. To register call Karl at 229-5147.
Jim Schulte, professor at Clarkson, will set up a blacklight and discuss major features of moths on Sept. 7 from 9 to 11 p.m. Call Jim at 261-4159 to register.

A nature inspired writing day will take place Sept. 21 from 10 a.m. to noon. For information contact Carol Zimmerman at 212-2800.
The nature center will hold a fall work day to prepare the trials for winter on Sept. 28 from 8:30 a.m. to noon. For more information or to register call Roger Hutchinson at 386-4795.
A winter outing will be held Dec. 14 with a planned two-mile snowshoe or hike followed by s’mores and cocoa. For a start time contact Ann Spencer at 279-1383.
