RENSSELAER FALS -- Indian Creek Nature Center is hosting a paddling session from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, June 4 and a bird walk starting at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, June 8.
For the paddle, bring your own canoe or kayak, life jacket, and a whistle.
Meet at DEC’s middle access road on CR 14, 1.6 mi. from Rt. 68 and 2.5 mi. from Rensselaer Falls.

The bird hike is through shrubland, marsh, wetland, and forest habitats along the Tower and Succession Trails.
A spotting scope will be used to view birds on Lower Lake from the top of the observation tower.
