POTSDAM – Power skating specialist Karen Healey will coach a power skating school at Clarkson University’s Cheel Arena July 26 – Aug. 18.
Focus of the school will be on increased power, quickness, strength agility and balance. Hockey players will meet every Tuesday and Thursday from 6:15 to 8:15 p.m.
The first hour will be on-ice training where players will need all gear including their stick. The second hour will feature dry land training and players will need sneakers, t-shirt and shorts. Participants should also bring a water bottle with their name on it.
