POTSDAM – A human trafficking discussion will be held March 26 at 7 p.m. in the Potsdam Town Hall community room, 18 Elm St. Speakers Sabel Bong, EOP counselor at SUNY Canton, and David Bugg, Director of Learning Communities/Associate Professor of Sociology at SUNY Potsdam.
The program is jointly sponsored by AAUW-St. Lawrence County and the League of Women Voters of SLC.
The presentation explores human trafficking and its impact in the North Country and will also talk about plans for a joint SUNY Canton and SUNY Potsdam study abroad course to Cambodia for the winter 2014.
They will also describe work on both campuses for the Human Wrong Campaign during Human Trafficking Awareness Month at SUNY Canton and Potsdam.
