HEUVELTON -- The Howl Grand Story SLAM competition will be held Saturday, Nov. 4, at 6 p.m., at Pickens Hall.
The theme for the evening’s tales will be "Holidays." Storytellers who have won from previous season 3 locations are invited for this ultimate storytelling showdown.
Names are picked, and one by one, storytellers take the stage and tell their best story.
Local judges will score every story to select The Howl Story Grand SLAM champion. Story tellers are limited to 8 minutes.
All stories have to be true and come from personal experience. No notes.
The event is sponsored by North Country Public Radio, the Adirondack Center for Writing and the Heuvelton Historical Association.
