Hospice selling tickets for Tastes of Autumn brunch in Massena

MASSENA -- Hospice’s Tastes of Autumn fundraiser brunch will be served this year at the Massena Country Club, state Route 131.

Returning are guest chefs Bill Orlando, Rick Fregoe and John Vankennen. Orlando will prepare guests’ choice of apple cider glazed salmon or chicken served with a side of sweet potato duchesse and apple hash.

Fregoe will prepare a pork braciole braised in a homemade tomato sauce and served over a creamy soft polenta.

Vankennen will make venison osso buco served with a roasted brussel sprout and cider bacon risotto.

Members of the Massena Rotary Club will return as what Hospice calls the “celebrity wait staff.”

The entrees will be accompanied by soup, salad, bread and desserts from a variety of local businesses and organizations.

The event will be on Sunday, Oct. 25.

The cost is $40 per ticket and all proceeds will help support Hospice patient services and community outreach.

Seatings will begin at 11:30 a.m. and continue every 30 minutes until 2:30 p.m.

Reservations, sponsorships: 265-3105, 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Reservation deadline is Oct. 16.
