OXBOW -- A horseshoe tournament and chicken barbeque to benefit Bob Gonyea of Gouverneur will be held Saturday, April 20 at the Oxbow Fire Hall. Gonyea, who suffers from pancreatitis, is hospitalized at Fletcher Allen Medical Center.
The tournament will be $25 per team.
The dinner, which includes a half broiler, baked beans and coleslaw, will be $8. Half broilers will also be sold alone for $4.50. Registration will start at 10 a.m., with the barbeque and tournament to begin at 11 a.m.
