CANTON -- More than 25 area health agencies and organizations are expected at the Hop to Health Fair at the SUNY Canton Davis Health Center to highlight health-related resources Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
The event will be held in the Richard W. Miller Campus Center room 212. The event is free and open to the public.
Attendees can get their blood pressure checked, participate in a cancer screening, or have their body fat percentage and body mass index calculated. There will also be information about Alzheimer’s awareness and support, organ donation, breast cancer prevention, nutrition, financial health, addiction and relapse prevention and treatment, traffic safety and hearing preservation.
In addition, the Mobile Veterans Center, which is used to serve geographically remote communities, will be on hand to provide counseling services and information for military veterans and their families.
