OGDENSBURG – St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union has announced it is holding a holiday food drive Nov. 1-17 to help community families. The holiday food drive is co-sponsored by The Church and Community Program in Canton, The Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center, and the Potsdam Neighborhood Center.
Those interested in donating non-perishable food items may do so at any of the four St. Lawrence FCU branches at 800 Commerce Park Drive and 333 State Street in Ogdensburg, 33 Court Street in Canton, or 6585 State Highway 56 in Potsdam.
Suggested items include canned soups or vegetables, stuffing mix, pie filling, crust mix, hot roll mix and cranberry sauce.
“This is an annual event that really brings the community together. It is a wonderful way to get into the spirit of giving by donating food to stock local food pantries that see increased activity this time of year. We look forward to another great outpouring of support. St. Lawrence FCU is happy to be participating with our co-sponsors," St. Lawrence Federal Credit Union CEO Todd Mashaw said in an event announcement.
