MASSENA – Windance will hold a Holiday Earring Workshop for all ages Saturday, Nov. 26 from noon – 4 p.m.
Artist Tanya Spicer is a native of Massena who loves beads, bead weaving, and making jewelry. She has attended and taught bead weaving classes, attended Bead Fest Philadelphia, and is a MARK ‘11 Alumna of NYFA (NY Foundation for the Arts).
Her work is for sale at local venues, such as Windance and she is currently employed by the St. Lawrence County Arts Council.
Participants are invited to make a pair of sparkling Swarovski Crystal earrings with Tanya. There will be 3 styles to choose from, all of which are “holiday-themed.”
No experience is necessary. Tools and materials will be provided. The project fee is $10.
Windance is located at 345B East Orvis St.
Pre-registration for programs is recommended, but not required.
These earrings will take roughly 40 minutes to make, so participants may come anytime between noon and 4 p.m.
