WINTHROP -- The Stockholm Historical Organization will hold an open house Sunday, Oct. 11, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Town of Stockholm Municipal Building, State Highway 11C.
The history center will be open for viewing the exhibits including: a one-room Ca. 1800 home, Civil War era Victorian Parlor, the one-room schoolhouse, and a general store.
The boardroom will be the location of an exhibit recognizing the 150th Commemoration of the Civil War with artifacts from that era and information about the 345 men from the town who served during the war.
A silent auction will take place from 1 until 3:30 p.m. Proceeds benefit of the Stockholm Historical Organization.
Refreshments will be available. Admission is free.
