POTSDAM -- High Fiber Content, an exhibit of wool felt pictures Kathy Montan, Canton, will open at the SLC Arts Gallery, 18 Elm St., with a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16.
Live jazz music by Church, State, and the Private Sector will accompany the art opening from 5 to 6 p.m.
Montan will demonstrate the wool felting techniques used to create her pieces at 6 p.m.
The exhibit features 30 of creations, which have a 3-D sculptural effect due to the fiber art medium used by Montan.
The exhibit will be on display at the gallery's Town Hall location through Thursday, Oct. 20.
Gallery hours are Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
