HEUVELTON -- Cornerstone Wesleyan Church is hosting two upcoming Christmas events.
Dec. 17 will be free gift-wrapping and parents’ night out from 4 to 8 p.m. A screened childrens’ team will watch kids so parents can do what they need or want on the last weekend before Christmas. Register: wrap.cornerstonewesleyan.org or call 714-4646
Dec. 24 will be a candlelight service with a live poinsetta tree from 6 to 7 p.m. There will be a blend of traditional and contemporary music with free family portraits available in front of the 12-foot tree.
The tree includes 160 poinsettias measuring 15 to 18 inches each eatly stacked in the frame, held in place by plastic spoons while 450 Christmas lights accent the deep red leaves. David Kingsley designed the tree with access in the rear for watering.
