HEUVELTON – The Heuvelton Amvets Post 1997, 107 State St., will host several upcoming events and meetings in August and September.
The Sons of Amvets meet at 1 p.m. on Aug. 9. The Amvets Ladies Auxiliary meets at 6:30 p.m. on Aug. 10. On Aug. 12 the Amvets will meet at 6:30 p.m.
Pure Country will perform from 1 to 5 p.m. on Aug. 16.
A breakfast will be served from 8 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, Aug. 23. The cost is $6.50 adults and $4.50 kids.
Pure Country is slated for Sept. 5 from 8 p.m. until midnight.
A chicken barbeque will be served Sept. 6 from 2 p.m. until gone.
The meal includes a half chicken, macaroni salad, baked beans, pickles, rolls, dessert for $9 adults and $5 for kids.
