HEUVELTON -- Amvets Post 1997, 107 State St., will host a wide variety of events during the month of November. The schedule is as follows:
A dance with Pure Country Band will be held on Saturday, Nov. 5 from 7 to 11 p.m. Admission is free.
Veteran's Day services will begin at the Heuvelton Town Hall at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. A luncheon will be held at the Amvets Post after the services.
Pure Country will perform once again from 1 to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 20. The event will also feature a surprise gift auction and chili sale to benefit the Heuvelton Giving Tree.
Sunday breakfasts will be held at the Post from 8 to 11 a.m. on Nov. 20 and 27. Cost is $6 for adults and $4.50 for children.
