DEKALB JUNCTION -- Hermon-DeKalb High School Drama Club will present three one-act plays based on the O. Henry stories “The Gift and the Magi,” “The Last Leaf” and “Soapy Smith's Winter Wish.”
Showtimes are on Friday, March 20 and Saturday, March 21 at 7 p.m. in the Hermon-DeKalb High School auditorium.
O. Henry is known for his irony and twist endings.
Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for students and seniors. They can be purchased at the door.
“Soapy Smith’s Winter Wish” cast includes Hunter Woodrow as Old Timer, Sebastien Durham as Soapy Smith, Trey Grant as Tabby, Ryan Matthews as Cross Eye, Ella Widmer as Mrs. Soames, Kari Hance as Elsie, Sabrina Woods as Sandra, Ryan Morrill as the cop, Alison Weber, Dylan Klock and Sydney Harris as street urchins, Jaimee Mahoney as Gimpy Peg and Garrett Willard as Hobbs.
“The Last Leaf” cast includes Kelsey Souza as Sue, Trey Grant as Berhman, Katelyn Guarino as Johnsy and Sebastien Durham as the doctor.
“Gift and the Magi” features Hunter Woodrow as Jim and Grace Smith as Della.
