CANTON -- Herbalist Jane Desotelle of Underwood Herbs in Plattsburgh will lead a walk around Canton’s Heritage Island on Sunday, June 1, sharing her experience and knowledge about how to identify, ethically collect, and use wild plants.

The walk will start from The TAUNY Center, 53 Main St., and be followed by a demonstration back at TAUNY where Desotelle will offer samples of tea and jellies made from wild plants.

Make sure to wear shoes and clothing comfortable for a walk, and check the TAUNY website for weather-related updates.
