'Help The Heroes Summer Bash' Saturday in Waddington to offer live music, food, bounce houses

WADDINGTON -- The Waddington Fire Department will benefit from the Aug. 9 "Help The Heroes Summer Bash."

The event, which is slated for 1 to 10 p.m., will include live music, a barbeque catered by the Seaway Smokehouse, firemen's poker, Texas horseshoes, bounces houses, a water slide and beverages.

Performers include Tom Murray Jr. (rock, soft rock, folk), Rob Larrabee (country), Echoes in Black (Johnny Cash tribute), and Atomic Precipitation (rock).

Proceeds from the rain-or-shine event will help the fire department buy new equipment.
