OGDENSBURG -- The 5th “A Hearty North Country Dinner” to benefit the St. Lawrence Valley SPCA will be Sunday, Jan. 25 from 3 to 6 p.m. at the Busy Corner Café, Corner of Ford and State streets.
The dinner is $7 and an additional $1 for dessert with takeout available.
Dinner includes meatloaf, mashed potatoes, vegetables, bread, and beverage.
All proceeds go to the shelter.
Participants are also asked to bring cat or dog food to be donated to the Ogdensburg Neighborhood Center.
There will also be a silent auction of a collector’s edition 1997 Mattel I Love Lucy Episode 30 “Lucy Does a TV Commercial” Starring Lucille Ball and a 1998 X-Files gift set with Barbie as Agent Dana Scully and Ken as Agent Fox Mulder.
Bidding is ongoing at the café Jan. 19 to 25 and concludes at 6 p.m. the night of the dinner.
