NORWOOD – A Heartsaver CPR course will be offered June 9 from 4 to 6:30 p.m. at the Adult Education Building, 7225 State Highway 56.

The course teaches adult and child CPR and AED use and infant CPR, as well as how to relieve choking.

The course also teaches skills with AHA's research-proven Practice-While-Watching (PWW) technique, which allows instructors to observe the students, provide feedback and guide the students' learning of skills.

Upon completion of this course, students receive an American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR AED course completion card that is valid for two years.

This course is for anyone with limited or no medical training who needs a course completion card in CPR and AED use to meet job, regulatory or other requirements.

The cost is $53 plus $10 for card payable to instructor. Call 1-888-360-7693 or visit www.sllboces.org under adult education to register.
