The St. Lawrence Health Initiative is sponsoring several six-week workshops designed to help people with chronic health conditions manage them better.
The "I Can Feel Better" programs will help people with diabetes, arthritis, high blood pressure, heart disease, chronic pain or anxiety, and other conditions, deal more effectively with frustration, pain, and fatigue. There will be discussions of nutrition, exercise, and communication skills.

The workshops are starting in August and September around St. Lawrence County:
Potsdam, Lawrence Avenue Apartments, begins Monday, Aug. 27, 1 to 3 p.m.
Massena, Massena Memorial Hospital, begins Wednesday, Ag. 29, 3 to 5:30 p.m.
Star Lake, Star Lake Housing, begins Tuesday, Sept. 4, 1:30 to 4 p.m.
Ogdensburg, Dobisky Center, begins Thursday, Sept. 13, 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
