Hawkins Point Visitors Center in Massena to host free movies during spring break April 14 – 17

MASSENA -- The Frank S. McCullough Jr. Hawkins Point Visitors Center is hosting free, family-friendly movies during spring break week.

Admission, parking and popcorn are free.

• Monday, April 14:

10 a.m. - “Planes” (2013): A crop-dusting plane with a fear of heights lives his dream of competing in a famous around-the-world aerial race. Rated PG.

1 p.m. - “Free Birds” (2013): Two turkeys from opposite sides of the tracks must put aside their differences and team up to travel back in time to change the course of history—and get turkey off the holiday menu for good. Rated PG.

3 p.m. - “Walking with Dinosaurs” (2013): See and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth in a story where an underdog dino triumphs to become a hero for the ages. Rated PG.

• Tuesday, April 15:

10 a.m. - “Turbo” (2013): A freak accident might just help an everyday garden snail achieve his biggest dream: winning the Indy 500. Rated PG.

1 p.m. - “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2” (2013): Flint Lockwood now works at The Live Corp Company for his idol Chester V. But he's forced to leave his post when he learns that his most infamous machine is still operational and is churning out menacing food-animal hybrids. Rated PG.

3 p.m. - “Monsters University” (2013): A look at the relationship between Mike and Sulley during their days at Monsters University—when they weren't necessarily the best of friends. Rated PG.

• Wednesday, April 16:

10 a.m. - “Cinderella” (1950): When Cinderella's cruel stepmother prevents her from attending the Royal Ball, she gets some unexpected help from lovable mice Gus and Jaq, and from her Fairy Godmother. Rated PG.

1 p.m. - “Frozen” (2013): Fearless optimist Anna teams up with Kristoff in an epic journey, encountering Everest-like conditions and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, in a race to find Anna's sister Elsa, whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom in eternal winter. Rated PG.

3 p.m. - “Shark Tale” (2004): When a son of a gangster shark boss is accidently killed while on the hunt, his would-be prey and his vegetarian brother both decide to use the incident to their own advantage. Rated PG.

• Thursday, April 17:

10 a.m. - “Hop” (2011): E.B., the Easter Bunny's teenage son, heads to Hollywood, determined to become a drummer in a rock 'n' roll band. In LA, he's taken in by Fred after the out-of-work slacker hits E.B. with his car. Rated PG.

1 p.m. - “Khumba” (2013): Rejected by his superstitious herd, a half-striped zebra embarks on a daring quest to earn his stripes but finds the courage and self-acceptance to save all the animals of the Great Karoo. Not rated.

3 p.m. - “The Pirate Fairy” (2014): When a misunderstood dust-keeper fairy named Zarina steals Pixie Hollow's all-important Blue Pixie Dust, and flies away to join forces with the pirates of Skull Rock, Tinker Bell and her fairy friends must embark on the adventure of a lifetime to return it to its rightful place. Rated G.
