MASSENA—The Frank S. McCullough Jr., Hawkins Point Visitors Center and Boat Launch will be closed on Friday, August 24, to accommodate a NYPA-hosted community celebration of the 60th Anniversary of the St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project.
The August 24 celebration of NYPA’s St. Lawrence-FDR Power Project will begin at 4 p.m. with ice cream served from 4 to 6 pm, followed by a performance of Fort Drum’s Rock Band. The event will conclude with a fireworks display at dusk.
The Hawkins Point Boat Launch will be closed from midnight on Aug. 23 until Aug. 25 at 6 a.m. Boaters are encouraged to use nearby facilities at the Massena Intake or the Wilson Hill Boat Launch.
