HARRISVILLE -- The Harrisville Volunteer Fire Department will host their 14th ice fishing derby Feb. 20 from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Day-of registration is at 4 a.m. Those registered in advance will have to pick up their tags at the fire hall.
Angling will be on Lake Bonaparte.
The weigh-in station will be at Sand Bay, where prizes will be given.
Entry fee is $25 per person.
Trout division is an extra $10.
Children under age 12 are perch only and can enter for $5.
Total payout is $6,400 based on 1,000 entries.
First prize is $500, second prize is $200 and third prize is $100
There will also be a “Giant 50/50 Raffle,” food and drawings for prizes including power ice augers and ice shanties.
Entry forms are available at the Trackside Tavern in Harrisville, the Harrisville Rod and Gun Club and TNT Tackle and Sports in Edwards.
