HANNAWA FALLS -- A hands-on workshop on "Do It Yourself (DIY) Winter and Summer Skin Care Products" will be held Saturday, Jan. 10, from 1 to 3 p.m.
The workshop is presented in partnership between DawnLight Herbals & More and the Local Living Venture, coordinator of "resourceful living skills" workshops within the St. Lawrence River Valley.
The session will cover making three different natural skin care items that attendees will assist in creating. The workshop presenter is Dawn Rosenbarker of DawnLight Herbals.
She has been creating lip balms, lotions and skin care oils for over twenty years. At the end of the workshop, participants will take home an all-natural skin care product that they made themselves in a group setting. Attendees will take home recipes and information needed to create more of the same. The fee is $25 general public, $45 couple and $10 for students.
