POTSDAM -- The North Country Children's Museum will present a Korean drumming hands-on music program for children grades K-5 at the Clarkson University Bookstore, 39 Market St., from 12:30 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 1.
SLU music professor In-Sill Yoo will lead the program, which will cover Korean percussion instruments, rhythmic patterns and an assortment of basic techniques. Children will have a chance to compose a short traditional rhythmic pattern and give a group performance at the end of the program.
The cost of the program is $10 per participant. Need-based discounts are available.
