POTSDAM -- "Guitar 101: Getting Started with Guitar" will be offered Saturday, Sept. 12, with Jon Dufore at the St. Lawrence County Arts Council, 41 Elm St.
The class will take place from noon until 2 p.m.
The cost is $19 for members or $24 for non-members.
The class will go over how to hold a guitar, stings and tuning, picking, playing basic cords, chord changes and reading notes.
Handouts will be provided.
