OGDENSBURG -- The Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce will host their annual dinner Nov. 8 at the Gran-View Restaurant, 6765 State Highway 68.
Nominations for the 2013 citizen of the year are being accepted. Criteria for judging includes: What kind of service do they do or offer? How many service projects are they involved in or have been involved in? Who does their service work effect, kids-seniors?
The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the business improvement award recipient. Businesses that had a positive impact on the community through its appearance by renovating an existing building into a thriving business are eligible.
The Chamber is also accepting nominations for the outstand community service award recipient. This award goes to a person or group who have contributed their time and work into a project for which the entire community benefits.
Nomination deadlines are Oct. 16.
