RUSSELL -- The Russell Theater, 4 Pestle St., will present Grass Transit Friday, July 10, at 7 p.m. This is return engagement for the theatre.
With their repertoire of bluegrass, swing, country, and traditional tunes, Grass Transit's vibrant 3-part vocal harmonies, backed by Rick Williams' driving mandolin, Ken Alger's melodic banjo, and Lee Alger's rhythmic bass bring a big sound to their performance.
Admission is a donation to the house to help with the restoration and the soon to be open for use elevator.
Light refreshments will be served and there will be a 50-50 raffle. Call Tess Eells for information at 347-2358.
