Stringfolk performs July 18 in Gouverneur's Riverview Park

GOUVERNEUR – North Country singer/storytellers Stringfolk will perform tales of local history Sunday, July 18 as part of The Riverview Park Concert Series in Gouverneur this summer.

All Concerts begin at 4 p.m. in the park on Route 58 (Natural Dam Road). A small donation to the Riverview Park is suggested to help maintain the facility and keep the program going.

Other scheduled performances:

• July 25: Barb Heller - Folk music and ballad singer

• Aug. 1: Rivergrass Band - Bluegrass music group

• Aug. 8: Canton Goldenaires - Barbershop chorus

• Aug. 15: Al Beatrus and Friends Band - singing 50’s and 60’s music

• Aug. 22: Amber Nezezon - renowned fiddle player and folk singer

• Aug. 29: Mike White and Dale Streeter - Railroad Folk music.

The Riverview Park in Gouverneur is run by the Riverview Park Association, which is a non-profit organization.
