GOUVERNEUR -- The school district will hold an informational and registration meeting for parents of eligible pre-kindergarten children Monday, March 13, from 6:30-7:15 p.m. in the library/media center at East Side Elementary.
Students who will be four years old on or before Dec. 1, 2017 are eligible for the program. The district anticipates a large number of registrations for the fall program.
Seats are limited and are generally give to students on a first-come, first-served basis. Interested parents are encouraged to attend.
April Patton, Katie Stoffel and Kelly Ayen, pre-k teachers, and Joanie Serviss, Lauren Correa and Brianne Tulley, teacher assistants, will give an overview of the program and answer questions.
The principal and vice principal will also be available to discuss the application process.
