Gouverneur native brings Bo Bice bandmates to Edwards Friday and Gouverneur Saturday for live shows

Gouverneur native and drummer for Bo Bice, Austin Curcuruto will be bringing his funk rock trio to the The American House in Edwards Friday, Aug. 12 and Mullins Restaurant in Gouverneur on Saturday, Aug. 13.

Friday nights' performance will consist of Larry Holly opening the show with his original acoustic country songs from 8 to 9 p.m., followed by the Waydown Wailers (Dave Parker, Christian Parker, Michael “Scruffy” Scriminger, Barry Carson, and Matt Gayle) from 9 to 10 p.m., and then Austin Curcuruto (drums) and fellow Bo Bice band members Bart Walker (guitar) and CJ Wilder (bass) from 10 p.m. to 1 a.m.

Saturday nights’ performance will run from 9 p.m. to midnight featuring Austin Curcuruto, Bart Walker and CJ Wilder.

Curcuruto is a 2002 graduate from Gouverneur Central High School and was named runner up for Up & Coming 2010 "Modern Drummer" Readers Poll.

He has toured with popstar Tiffany and is currently on tour with Bo Bice.

He is proudly endorsed by Pearl Drums and Hardware, Pro Mark Drumsticks, and Evans Drumheads.

“Coming home to play means the world to me,” said Curcuruto. “I am excited

to share some of my closest and most talented friends with the people I come

from.”

Tickets for the Aug. 12 show at The American House are $5 at the door.
