GOUVERNEUR – A soup and sandwich supper fundraiser will be held Jan. 25 to raise funds for care packages for soldiers serving overseas.
The meal will be served at the Gouverneur Methodist Church, Grove Street, from 3:30 to 6:30 p.m. Soups will include chicken noodle, cheddar broccoli, beef stew and red chili. Egg salad, tuna, turkey and peanut butter and jelly sandwiches will be offered.
The meal includes a dessert. The cost is $5. The meal is eat-in or take-out. Delivery is possible for an additional donation.
