GOUVERNEUR — The Gouverneur Fire Department will host their fourth ice fishing derby Saturday, Feb. 18 beginning at 4 a.m.
The derby is open boundary. Register at the fire station on Feb. 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. or Feb. 18 at 4 a.m.
All fish must be entered by 4:30 p.m.
Prizes will be drawn at 5 p.m. at the fire station.
There will be raffles and a 50/50.
All northern pike must be a minimum of 18 inches.
The cost is $15 for adults and $10 for kids 15 and under.
The grand prize is $500.
Other prizes include ice augers and jet sleds.
