GOUVERNEUR -- The Gouverneur American Legion, 163 E. Main St., will host a chicken BBQ beginning at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 24.
The menu includes half chickens, roasted red potatoes, local corn on the cob, rolls and butter for $9. Individual half chickens will be available for $5.
The event will benefit local area programs and is takeout and local delivery only.
